I'm just 4' 10" bubbly bundle of dynamite!

I was born and raised in the tiny island of Sri Lanka. My parents love the arts, so they decided to send my two older sisters to speech & drama, ballet, classical singing and piano lessons. And 3 year old me tagged  along

At the age of 11 I was a regular on the ETV Kids Show... Yup, I sang hits like "Hit Me Baby One More Time."

I was also a founding member  of the award winning female choir Soul Sounds which won many medals at the World Choir Games and toured Australia, France, India...

We joined the One World Project to raise funds for the victims of the 2004 tsunami singing Mike Reeds' song 'Grief Never Grows Old' with legends Barry and Robin Gibb, Boy George, Gerry Beckley, Cliff Richards and many more.

In 2008, I left my family and friends and moved to San Francisco to pursue my dream in the Arts.
I then
graduated from The Pacific Conservatory Theatre's (PCPA) acting program.

In 2015, Kristin Chenoweth (at her concert at Weil Hall Green Music Centre in CA) wanted a random audience member to sing "For Good" with her from the musical Wicked... Guess who was that lucky audience member?!!

In 2016, I sang the National Anthem at my own New Citizen's Swearing In Ceremony held at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland CA.

I've always been passionate about theatre for social change. And for almost 5 years, I was a Performer Educator and Teaching Artist at Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre in Oakland CA. A program that brings free, live theatrical performances based on health topics (such as healthy eating/active living, violence prevention/ anti bullying, puberty, HIV, STI prevention etc) to  schools and workshops in classrooms furthering these health messages.

In 2018, I had the honour and privilege of bringing to life Disney's first South Asian Princess, Anika at Disney World's Animal Kingdom: Up! A Great Bird Adventure.

I am a proud immigrant and a woman of colour.

#representationmatters #ourstoriesmatter

I love laughing, singing, dancing, acting, rapping, writing, photography, editing music and photos...

I'm a proud AEA actor based in the States.
